Description

2014 Il Salcheto | Vino Nobile di Montepulciano | Toscana, Italy
100% Sangiovese (or “Prugnolo Gentile”) from Montepulciano. Aromas of cherries, spices, leather and tobacco. Complex but still fresh and fruity. Need an easy pairing for tomato sauce? Look no further.

2015 La Rasina | Rosso di Montalcino | Toscana, Italy
100% Sangiovese (or “Sangiovese Grosso”) from Montalcino, small production. Pleasant, fresh and fragrant on the nose. Good structure on the palate: intense, slightly tannic, and surprising length.

2016 Monteraponi | Chianti Classico | Toscana, Italy
95% Sangiovese with 5% Canaiolo from the Chianti Classico area between Florence and Siena, famous for the “Galestro” schist soil. Intense notes of violet, pepper and raspberry. Fresh, long-lasting and full bodied with a silky, supple finish.
