After a comprehensive 3-year renovation, Mingei International Museum is the home to ARTIFACT at Mingei and CRAFT CAFE open daily at 8:30 am as the newest additions to the growing Urban Kitchen Group portfolio. Both located in the free and welcoming Commons level, a new “living room” for Balboa Park featuring cutting-edge design by Jennifer Luce, and exhibitions and dynamic artist installations, all rooted in Mingei’s mission to celebrate folk art, craft and design from around the world.
